One never needs to agree with someone else's perspective, but if one doesn't even "see" another's perspective, then loneliness looms large. Being in communication with another being requires the willingness to look and listen, at the very least. Now, most people wish being surrounded by love and friendship, so why don't they listen more? Why do they let their ego - and the wish to be right, before the conversation even starts - get in the way?
