I guess the Buddha was onto something: according to Buddhism, "mine" is the root-cause of the delusion of the 'self' (the 'self' arises in relation to what it appropriates, but the mind assumes  an "existence independent from the appropriated context")…
and this delusion of an intrinsic "self" is the 'ignorance' that leads to 'suffering'…

Can we stop another round of "mine" / appropriation now, can we stop looking at the past as an excuse for yet another cycle, or for narratives around "this was mine first"? We already know the consequence of such ignorance!
