There is a technique to cultivate loving-kindness and compassion (e.g. in the Tibetan Gelug school) based on seeing all beings as your mother.

Depending on who your are (http://gplus.wallez.name/7c84JanktA2), you can see this from a perspective of rebirth, or e.g. from a perspective of all beings participating in giving birth to the world you live in (and co-dependently arising in it, just like a 'mother' arises —from the 'woman' she was— when she bears her child)…

This 2'00'' video is not about Buddhism, it is about violence; and most of the violence (on women, other men and children) is unfortunately from men. So the solution relies on men, notably on men taking the responsibility to lead the 'lost' or 'confused' ones, the responsibility to slam inappropriate judgements and remarks and banter, the responsibility to intervene…

The gate this video proposes to use, in order to cultivate a better world, is the same as the one proposed by some buddhist schools!
