“The day has now ended. Our lives are shorter. Now we look carefully. What have we done? Noble Saṅgha, with all our heart, let us be diligent, engaging in the practice. Let us live deeply, free from afflictions, aware of impermanence so life does not drift away without meaning.”

Touching the Earth: intimate conversations with the Buddha

If you look around you, beauty is here…
But you need to look; now, not tomorrow!

So… "practice of the day":
can you go for a walk today (at lunch time, after work, before work, whenever) and find something beautiful? Do not come back before you found something, anything 'beautiful'… and realised in this moment that e.g. "grey weather" or 'rain' can be a beautiful home, or that e.g. everyday you walk past beautiful buildings you don't see because you look at your feet instead!

video: Vicente Amigo - Roma from the album "Tierra" by Vicente Amigo, 4'33''. Beautiful music (rather different from this flamenco guitarist), perfect video!
