recently repaired a 108-beads mala… but forgot to meditate yesterday, after a streak of 54 days… merely hours after I was reminding and supporting someone else to meditate every single day, even if for 1 minute…

Oh well, start again, try again! Patience, perseverance, compassion (incl. vis-à-vis one's own limitations)… keeping the practice alive, rather than automatic… using the opportunity to reconnect with intentions and wise reasons to practice thus, but also the opportunity simply to look, to question, to enquire: what is this about? what is this embodiment? what is this intention? what is this reality? what is this? what this? what? ?

Fayan was going on pilgrimage.
Dizang said “Where are you going?”
Fayan said “Around on pilgrimage.”
Dizang said “What is the purpose of pilgrimage?”
Fayan said “I don’t know.”
Dizang said “Not-knowing is most intimate.”
Fayan had a great enlightenment.
