You already know you should not judge mind-wandering during meditation, and simply bring your attention back to the breath (or the object of concentration)… If you vow to be less judgmental, and find yourself being critical, just rejoice that you noted the lapse and bring yourself back to the right intention.
Why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves up. Usually it takes a few attempts… and constant vigilance.
