Rolf Tschochohei asked "If you start to study Buddhism as a laity, where would you begin? What is your advice for a self-study?"

I provided pointers yesterday, but once again I forgot the "high visibility" rule that requires one to use a picture (at the very least) to make a post stand out! And I posted on a Sunday in a ghost town (everybody went to their country home, I guess!?), probably even emptier than usual due to the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympics. So just in case some people who missed it might be interested…
